This Mini-Quest is part of the jobchange for alchemist !

Get yourself 1 Detrimindexta and 1x Karvodailnirol and with these items in your inventory go into the house in the north of Alberta. Inside, take the stairs to the first floor. Follow the hallway to its end and enter the room there. In the back of this room you'll find the Merchant Louitz at the bookshelf.

If you don't have the required items with you, he will still tell you about the crazy scientist in Geffen and mention "Detrimindexta and Karvodailnirol", but you won't get the name of the scientist...

Only if you have the required items with you, you may ask him about the solutions and he will tell you the name of the scientist: Molgenstein !! You might get more informations on him in Geffen...

So you go to Geffen to look for that crazy scientist. In order to know where you could find him, you ask Aure Dupon who is situated behind a tree left from the eastern Kafra in Geffen.

If you talk to him and mention Molgenstein, he will tell you where to find him: Molgenstein can be found on the first floor of the former building of the Blacksmith Guild in the south-east of Geffen.

So you go to this building and go up to the first floor. Now go through the warp to find Molgenstein in his room.

Please pay attention to have the forementionned items in your inventory while talking with Molgenstein, because if you don't have them you may talk with him about his research in general. But if you have got both of the items in your inventory, you may ask him to "make something new" and he will tell you the necessary ingredients for the fabrication of either Counteragent or Mixture.

From now on, he will make you either Counteragent or Mixture if you just bring him the items.
